OverviewAmerican Gold & Copper Corp. is a U.S.-based exploration and development-stage mining company advancing copper, gold, and silver projects in Bolivia and the U.S. Its core asset is the 42,175-hectare Ascensión de Guarayos VMS project in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where prior operators invested more than $27 million in exploration and identified three mineralized lenses within a 35-kilometer prospective belt. Its layered geology, with near-surface gold above enriched copper, supports a staged development plan in which early gold production is intended to help fund copper development. The Company reports that the required permits are in hand, and a gravity plant has operated on a test-mining basis since 2014.
